The MASYC Group, Inc. working with the Homebuilder Special Interest Group announced plans for a
Homebuilder Summit and Reunion in October (revised) of 2012. It was ten years ago, in 2002 that builders
from around the world gathered in Irvine California for MASYC's presentation of the prototype of
Homebuilder Management, in development for OneWorld Xe. Over the past ten years a great deal of
attention has been devoted to refining this roadmap for homebuilders, combining solutions from
Oracle, Hyphen and MASYC development. With the incredible changes in our industry, this gathering
of the builders, together again, in August is a once in a decade opportunity to showcase our new
enhanced homebuilder roadmap.

In 2010, MASYC created a new service for our clients. We now offer CareOne, which is a Managed
Configurable Network Computing (CNC) service offering. One of our clients, Mission Landscape
Companies, is using this service through MASYC. For Mission, we provide a series of services at
different intervals; some activities are semi-monthly, while others are monthly, quarterly, and
annual activities. Mission is taking advantage of this service offering in an effort to keep
their systems as up-to-date and efficient as possible. At the same time, Mission can make costs
more predictable and keep internal personnel costs down.
The MASYC Group, Inc. has contributed to Oracle’s development of the Projects Specialization by
taking the beta exam for this area of specialty.
When completed, this Specialization will distinguish The MASYC Group, Inc. as a premier Solutions
Implementer using Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Projects suite of applications. These
applications include Job Cost, Contract and Service Billing, Change Management and Project and
Government Contract Accounting.
FOX Networks Group has had the desire to upgrade their Oracle Toolset technology for the past 3
years. In performing an analysis on the situation, we identified the additional desire to expand
their Employee Self Service (ESS) Portal, which is FOX’s main application, with over 5000 users -
including well-known actors and directors. more...

Pardee Homes, an award winning home builder in Southern California and the Las Vegas region went live
on EnterpriseOne 9.0 in September, 2009. In early 2008, the Pardee Homes EnterpriseOne project
started with an ambitious goal of a 2009 3rd Quarter Go-Live. The software solution from EnterpriseOne

Mission Landscape Companies goes live with Financials, Projects, Contract Billing and in a last minute
change of plans, moves forward with organization-wide Human Capital Management (HCM). Phase II included
Sales Order Management, Benefits Administration and Business Intelligence Interactive for ad hoc reporting
requirements. Additionally, Mission has incorporated the wide use of Oracle’s BI Publisher tool to enhance
many of their executive and customer-facing reports such as invoices and payments to vendors as well as employees.
In the Summer of 2009, MASYC upgraded the Woodside Group, Inc. to the latest EnterpriseOne Tools and Application
code. To accomplish this, we installed Release 9.0 and Tools 8.98.2.2 in a multi-foundation environment. After
retrofitting the required modifications to the code and testing the upgraded development environment, we then
upgraded the Production system with the Application code and new Tools. Woodside is now functioning well on the
system and enjoying the benefits of the offerings that Oracle brings to the new system.
For their Human Capital Management needs, Woodside implemented a largely turn-key, “vanilla” implementation, which
MASYC installed in 2005. It included weekly and semimonthly pay cycles for approximately 750 employees in 17 states.
The solution included remote time entry and corporate paycheck processing with third-party interfaces for tax filings,
auto deposit and positive pay for four separate payroll entities. The solution also included integration with Accounts
Payable for garnishment payment processing. Lastly, the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process was deployed via a
Websphere portal solution. Following the success of the Open Enrollment solution, a presentation describing the
project strategy and techniques was made at the annual independent Oracle Users Group convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During early 2010, MASYC migrated these same portal solutions to an Oracle portal in conjunction with our upgrade
of Woodside from EnterpriseOne 8.11, to EnterpriseOne 9.0.
